The village of Sparone has a population of approximately 1000 people. It lies in the interior, far from the city, and is surrounded by mountains. The people are poor and simple at heart. Lack of proper transport has led to the migration of young people to the city, leaving the elderly behind. When they are unable to manage by themselves, they move to the aged home.

The sisters officially started working in the aged home from 1 November 2017. Due to the pandemic the community was closed for almost two years. It was restarted from 28 December 2021 and has 20 inmates whom the sisters take care along with other staff.
