SNEHA DEEP - NORTHERN PROVINCE

The long cherished dream of having a Regionalate for North Region came to reality on 12thNovember 2006, when Sneha Deep was blessed. Sneha Deep –means a flame of love.

At present Sneha Deep is established as the Provincialate for North Province of the Society of the Helpers of Mary. It is in the Diocese of Varanasi, 8 kilometers from the holy city of Varanasi. The Provincial along with Provincial Bursar and Provincial Secretary carry out the administrative functions with a few attached activities. All the programmes of the province like retreats, seminars, meetings and gatherings are held here. Being the head office of the Sneha Deep society all the government and other official correspondence are done from here.

Beside the administration of the Province here we too have candidates who are doing their 11th and 12th standard. ‘Come and see’ program held here; young girls who wish to live the Charism of the Helpers of Mary prepared for their initial formation after which the suitable candidate join Postulancy (Pre-Novitiate) for further training in our formation house at Andheri, Mumbai.
