Our mission in Alendu, Kisumu Archdiocese, began on January 12, 2025. Located 2 km from the highway, it is 190 km from Nakuru and 130 km from Nairobi Airport. It was through the  strong recommendation  of the Archbishop of Kisumu, His grace Rt. Rev. Maurice Muhaa Makumba,  who  invited us to establish a community in Alendu. - Kisumu is a beautiful place with lot of  potentials: a well-established fishing place, beautiful and unique beaches, Inspite of its natural resources, poverty levels are still high in Kisumu. Sisters are involved in  family visits, pastoral care, social outreach and education. Predominantly Luo, speaking Dholuo, reliant on fishing and farming.Religion: A mix of Christianity and traditional beliefs. Challenges: Poor infrastructure, droughts, floods, and limited healthcare. Opportunities: Good education levels and strong potential for evangelization.
