Addis -Nekemte Road, Konchi is the second centre of the Society in Ethiopia. It was opened in the year 2002 to promote an all round development of the rural population of this large village. The village consists of middle class rural family households, with large families. It is an agrarian community and do subsistence farming. However, this fast growing rural population is facing poverty, illiteracy, and unemployment, coupled with political instability and existence of various harmful traditional practices.
