Asha Kiran community was started on 26th May 1992. It is situated in Madanpur in Ghugri Block under Mandla District in Madhya Pradesh. Madanpur is 16 kilometers away from Ghugri Block, where the sisters of the Helpers of Mary rendering their service.

The economic status of the people is very low. Their daily living depends entirely upon daily wages. The chief occupation here is agriculture. The land is not much fertile and Water irrigation facilities are not reaching to these areas. The cultivation depends of rain, mostly it remains dried and has extreme climate.
