It was a cherished dream of the Province to begin a home in Odisha to serve the people there. Finally, this was achieved when the Samarpan convent was established on 19 December 2012 in a home offered by a parishioner of the church. A new convent was built in 2018 on land gifted by the MSFS priests. The convent was renamed in honour of Bl. Anne Catherine Emmerich, a mystic Marian visionary, ecstatic and stigmatist.

The activities conducted at the centre are: women’s groups, educational support to poor children, and nutrition program for children and pregnant women through Catholic Hospital Association of India (CHAI). Sisters also teach in the parish school.
