The Helpers of Mary were invited to Vadtal in Ahmedabad by Bishop Charley Gomes. This centre was inaugurated on 26th July 1985. Sisters were involved in social and health ministry. They regularly visited the villages to instruct people on health and other issues pertaining to their well-being. Later a small piece of land was purchased and the centre was build and inaugurated on 8th Dec. 1987.
